No. Version control systems such as CVS, DARCS, RCS are simple enough to
use even without GUI. If someone cannot comprehend a simple system like
DARCS, what kind of work might he or she be doing that would require
revision control? Letting the system know "record files bla and foo now"
isn't hard.
