Yes, it's yes! However, I'm against using it for 2.5. It would mean re-branding the much- discussed 2.5 stable release to 2.6, and that would cause much more confusion than using the .98.1 system. FWIW, personally I never found the 2.x beta y = 2.(x-1).98.y system very confusing, but I can't deny the odds/evens system is clearer. Reinier
