Hello, new to the list. Just wanted to introduce my self. Been using darktable for about 4 monthes. Building the from source for about 2 monthes. Software developer by profession.
I'd like to propose an idea for a simple module, and work on submitting code. I did a brief search of the mail list and didn't find this discussed before. Idea: Color / images "overlays" or "layers" - for the Effects Group Description: Select a color, and then you can overlay a whole image with at color. For example, yellow to give a nice sunny feel, or blue for a vintage look etc. A more complicated extesion of this idea would be an option to layer a whole other image, to give the photo more texture etc. Examples: "wrinkled paper", "film scratches", or "coffee stains" (I am not proposing including stock images in the module, they would have to come from the users hard drive) Required options: -color picker -blend / opacity Options for layering another images: - file picker - (optional) color to use as alpha Hope to get some feedback on if this module would be accepted.
