I think one should really consider /if/ one wants to do the /docs/ in 
several languages. Translating some gui-strings is already a bit time 
consuming. But I did a manual once (in another project) and to keep it 
up to date is something for a team, I think. (Though I admit that 
especially in the target community it might help a lot of people...)

At least I don't know it yet. But I'd be ready to learn how to do it. ;)

Still, I think we should get several people for this. Doing it once is 
one thing, but a waste of time if it can't be kept current. And you have 
quite a pace on this project. :)

So one might consider as well whether it would be ok to have 90% in 
german and the missing parts in english ("better than nothing till they 
are done" type of approach).
