I have until recently been using Turboprint as my base driver installed on CUPS and print output has been quite satisfactory but after a system rebuild I decided to try and go with the non-commercial default Epson-CUPS driver and I assumed that it would make little difference since this is the dt documented approach. I am using a calibrated screen and a calibrated paper.

After trying a number of combinations I finally have had to go back to using the Turboprint driver .... I was simply unable to have the print match the screen with the 'conventional' driver after following the dt examples and instructions.

Is anybody else having similar problems?

David
