Hello,

 

I am in the same case with my canon Pixma 4950 : Turboprint is the only way to 
get correct printouts.

With this model (or brand... I don't remember whether it is related to the 
model or the brand itself), trying
to print the usual way would produce awful results, far worse than what you can 
get with your epson.
Regardless to calibration considerations.

TP is worth every cent I spent for it.
