That's the issue. 2 drivers means two ways of rendering the color. An
ICC profile depends on the printer the paper *AND* the driver. This
last point is often forgotten because the manufacturer of paper are
providing profiles for *windows driver*. Well not only you can also
download for MacOS, and the OS has nothing to do in the loop, it is
just because MacOS and Windows are using different drivers.

So again, you need to create a profile for CUPS.
