Hi, Thanks a lot for all your answers. To summarize : - Proc : AMD Ryzen . I have today Intel® Pentium® Processor E2200 (2007!). Darktable works not so bad when you work on one picture, but it's really awful when you're in lighttable for calculting thumbnail!
- Graphic card : Forget free driver for better results (opencl) and use NVIDIA for a long terme support (I've Nvidia on my Archlinux , a GEFORCE 950 S and driver are still available !) - Hard drive : for better performance, think to have a local hardrive and use "local copy" function of darktable. My local network would be in gigabit, is it fast enough? For security reason my NAS will obviously be synchronised on a external hardrive (I have a closed wooden garden sheds in backyard with electricity and i think about something with CPL, even if speed is not the best, synchronisation will be done during night so it's not a problem.) For calibration of other screens (Laptop and TV screen from which I intend to use darktable launch on my desktop througt X2GO) it's not really important to my mind that the calibration is not perfect. It will be more used to show picture (in front of TV screen in the sofa!! with friends or family) rather than modify picture (mainly on desktop).
