I would not know why not.  a bash script is *usually* not bound to a
particular distro.

do you have many images in your library that are no longer available, ie:
moved or deleted, and are unable to successfully deal with them?

I have used the script but infrequently as I have been able to removed the
few images by selecting them and deleting them from within dt.

I am on openSUSE Tumbleweed running dt from git master
