I would not know why not.  a bash script is *usually* not bound to a
particular distro.

do you have many images in your library that are no longer available, ie:
moved or deleted, and are unable to successfully deal with them?

I think I won't need to run it... I was thinking that it is going to clear the cache (in case I have some that is there but not needed). I tend to work on images mainly from the ssd and then move them to attached drive (usb connected to a router) but I always delete them first. For now - I do not have images that are orphans (DB entries but no files).
