I am now convinced that retouch is not operating, on my system, as it should. Let me try to explain. With the wavelet scale ON, as I work on the individual 'layers' the healing mode works correctly. With the wavelet scale OFF, also working on individual layers, healing does not function at all! If I do all of the healing with wavelets mode ON .. then when I return to the master layer there has been no healing. This problem may well be due to the git version that I am running ....
