I do this all the time too - works well
- it works for whole folder hierarchies, so doing this for the topmost
folder should be enough
Haven't tried this - I usually work the sub-folders one by one.
This will save the new locations on the DB, avoiding any problem
involved in removing/re-importing.
I noticed I have to restart DT to fully display the images at the new
location. But this approach is way faster than re importing. It also
preserves the generated cache.
