If the folder structure is the same, you should be able to point DT to the new files location using the collect module: (WARNING: backup DB just in case) - filter by folder - if a folder is missing, it will be striked out - right-click on each of those folders and tell DT where it is located now - it works for whole folder hierarchies, so doing this for the topmost folder should be enough This will save the new locations on the DB, avoiding any problem involved in removing/re-importing.
