That's the assumption I made as well but that doesn't make sense to me. 
To me they should be the same. That is, why would I bother adjusting the 
"in" if it is not the same as "out". I understand where this is 
important for input display versus output profiles. Is this the case 
then that "in" only impacts the display and "out" affects the output? 
But for temperature, how would I "know" what the "out" should be set to?

For instance, adjusting the temperature using the one of the presets (eg 
Daylight) which only affects "in". So is the implication then one would 
not see any affect of using this preset on any output (eg jpg for printing)?

Is the implication then is that I have to manually adjust the 
termperature "out" to whatever was set for the temperature "in"?
