As a user who moved from Aftershot Pro...
The Perfectly Clear is similar to auto exposure and shadows and Highlights.
I found Aftershot too aggressive in it's application.
The noise handling is much better in Darktable. Denoise (non local means)
does very well, and the next version, 1.2 will have sensor presets.
iirc correctly, Auto Level will level out the horizon. Crop and rotate lets
you do that manually.
The others I'm not familiar with. Much depends on our personal style of
shooting of course, and making a tool fit for everyone is almost impossible.
One thing I prefer with Aftershot is the import from camera. Darktable
makes you wait for the thumbnails of the content of the sd card, which
takes a while. Aftershot allows you to select a folder to import. Not
certain if that has changed in 1.2
