Have you tried photoprint[1]? It replaces your manual icc step with a nice GUI that even includes a printer driver checksum so you can make sure the driver hasn't changed from under you or you haven't changed settings from the ones used for profiling. It would be great to get this integrated into DT. Photoprint hasn't been updated in a while.
