I recently tried to import some images from a compact flash card. Darktable seems to just add the images to its database with a reference to the folder on which the removable device is mounted. This means the images are not available if the removable media is not available.
Is there a way to get DT to copy the images like it does when importing from a camera? I couldn't see anything obvious. Or do I have to copy the files locally and then import to DT?
