I don't think the FOSS drivers support a workable OpenCL, and OpenCL makes a major difference for dt. It is supported by Linux, but I think the results from the xrite software are better (also the xrite software supports hardware calibration of the monitor, Linux doesn't). > * Would you buy them again? I would keep the monitor size and the wide gamut (99%sRGB) IPS technology. And if I was setting up a new system, with additional power sockets for the graphics card, I might choose a different card. But I think having any current OpenCL card makes a huge difference.
