Yes, it works with most Film-Types, but not with "Kodachrome".
("Kodachome" ist not "Kodak Ektachrome"!)

It is hard on very old Slides, my oldest are from 1976, something like
"Agfa CT200". They lost the colors and the software can partly reproduce it.
But the Kodachromes - using a special profile - need no correction.
They keep the colors constantly over 40 or 50 years.

The Nikon-Software for my scanner writes "NEF" not "DNG".

.. or NEF (an own Nikon format that can only be processed as a kind of
"raw-file" only with "Nikon-Scan" or "Nikon-View").
