Happy New Year, everybody!
Although it is now possible to append elevation details from exif data, it does not appear to be possible with DTs internal mapping function. When using this utility, latitude and longitude are indeed applied. However, the corresponding elevation at that intersection is not picked up (well, at least not in my case).
