I changed a G99999 field which had a formula on it to G99999::J (auto-incrementing). However it won't increment. This is a key index field (ID # for the record). There are two records in the panel with ID 00001 and ID 00002. But when I try to create a new record it stays at 00001. Looking at the field options choice #2 , the set value for next record is at 00009 (apparently for each attempt to create a new record). Also, it says "Automatically incremented when record is created" and "Automatically computed at any change and when record is saved". This second message is different from that of other ::J fields which say "Automatically computed when record is saved". Possibly the field is retaining info from the formula that was on it before it was changed to ::J. I ran DPEXP and DPIMP on it but this doesn't help. Any suggestions?
