Hi everyone,
I must be showing my age or something, but I can't seem to work this one
out.
Up until a couple of days ago I had an old parallel port printer,
connected to LPT1. This had run for years, but eventually gave up the
ghost. I've just purchased a new printer, which is the first USB
printer I've had on my own system. This is printing fine from all the
usual Windows applications, but I don't know how to print to it from
DP. Since it is the only printer on the system, I sort of assumed that
Windows would redirect LPT1 from DP to the USB port, but no such luck.
Instead, DP hangs when I try to print. I'm sure there is a simple fix
for this, but can't seem to find it, though I'm still looking.
I'm running Windows XP Home and have previously had no problems with DP
at all. I'm running DP without Shell.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
