Copy to printer or PDF conversion: does this take away all the formating and leave me with plain text? Jon

If is just straight text (no print codes), it should come up in Word fine. Otherwise, you can copy it to the printer or use a text editor to modify it or send the file to a PDF converter to create a PDF or just right click on it in windows explorer and send it the printer ....
