I did not primarily because I did not research W7 very much. My buy was very
impulsive as I was in a hurry to get a replacement for the stolen computer.

Given Rich's experience, I might look into a new laptop with 32-bit Win7 and
a back-lit keyboard.

On your Windows 7 64-bit computer, did you try upgrading it to Windows 7 Pro
and then install XP Mode on it, and then test DP in that mode?
