Indeed I run DP via the autoexec in DosBox where I have it set up to use dp.exe 
but 
shell doesn't work even your way. Did you say you're working on Win7 64-bit? In 
the meantime, until we figure this out, how do you get the default directory on 
the 
pathname using dp.exe?
