I had the same sort of problem on HPUX. I needed to recompile my
Perl use the +DD64 flag to make it 64 bit, then use that perl to
compile DBI/DBD. It worked for me. However, someone gave me warning
saying that 64bit Perl on HPUX might not work very well. Hope it
works for SGI.
