yes. But I've begun providing stable packages again on nfgd.net. The
2.2.5rc3-1 packages are what you want.

I guess where I'm at a loss is that apt-get update just didn't find the 2.2.5rc3 package. I had to download it and install it from dpkg - i... Not what I was expecting.

I got around it well enough and I don't consider installation problems like this to be as severe as post-installation issues (install once, run forever). But for a while there I was trying to figure out how to get around this -- I had no mail server and hence no mailing list.
