If your users are not complaining while you are running 2.2.3, then wait for 2.2.5 to enter debian/unstable. However, several people have reported various problems using various mailclients connecting to dbmail, all using IMAP. Those bugs (actually, regressions) have been resolved between 2.2.4 and 2.2.5rc3. No more problems with pine, mutt, thunderbird, outlook-office, mail.app, squirrelmail, roundcube, horde, egw, etc that I'm aware of. Note that outlook express is not in the list; there appear to be still some (non-fatal but annoying) problems with that client. Those are not easily resolved however. In fact, I can't reproduce them myself, but reports of them have been provided in sufficiently credible detail. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul Stevens paul at nfg.nl NET FACILITIES GROUP GPG/PGP: 1024D/11F8CD31 The Netherlands________________________________http://www.nfg.nl _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
