Aaron,
Would it be to hard to do something like this:

export the user information, all it's emails, etc etc
this in a sql file, separated each one in one directory like:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]/sqlfile_user1
[EMAIL PROTECTED]/sqlfile_user2

or

user1_all_information.sql
user2_all_information.sql

The export sql, will be a REPLACE and not insert so that i can insert the backup fot each user easyest.

What do you think?

I have to do a backup system for me, and i'd like to do such thing, probably with a php script.

Wait, I just noticed that your output lacks the expected .mbox suffix.
What's the version number from dbmail-export -V?

OK:

screamer email # dbmail-export -u dkasak -v
Exporting [93] mailboxes for [dkasak]
 export mailbox /dkasak/Drafts -> ./dkasak/Drafts
 export mailbox /dkasak/INBOX -> ./dkasak/INBOX
 export mailbox /dkasak/IT Stuff -> ./dkasak/IT Stuff
 export mailbox /dkasak/IT Stuff/ADSL Stuff -> ./dkasak/IT Stuff/ADSL
Stuff
can create directory [dkasak/IT Stuff]
screamer email #

I'm not sure if this is because the email folder has a space in it's
name. In other cases, it *does* actually create files with spaces in
their names, so I'm not really sure what's going on. At any rate, it
fails quite early on a couple of accounts I've tried, and doesn't give
any real clue as to why it's failed.
