this is really strange

for me the message sounds like there is a proxy
additionally the port is changed in the message

on your server it is really dbmail-imapd on both
loopback and ethernet

so i suspect in your network or at your ISP is something
like a proxy / transparent redirect or whatever which would
be enough for me to take the phone from the moment i know
who is resposible and scream in a way i can be heared in
australia without any tech :-)

these days more and more ISP#s are doing some transparent
bullshit and say they provide internet but they do not

i would first call the ISP, tell them what happens and
maybe they are honestly and state what they are doing
whcih would possibly save you a lot of time for diagnostics
