Thanks for this. Just to be sure I understand correctly, the apt-cacher server is on the same box that is being upgraded? Did you upgrade apt-cacher to forky first? I suppose something else might have changed to break apt-cacher. I suggest upgrade apt-cacher before apt upgrade. Does that help? Mark
