I've not found nothing this way, even with the frozen version (which work). However ps -efl | grep hal gives: 4 S 109 7879 7863 0 80 0 - 8107 - 12:19 ? 0:05 /usr/lib/hal/hald-addon-usbhid-ups >- using hal-device-manager, you should see the battery properties on >your USB device.
