It would be better to let Tollef speak for himself, so re-adding the
systemd mailing list, but I believe his message was addressing two
different issues: whether to switch init systems on upgrade, and the
dependencies on libpam-systemd (since I explicitly asked about that).  The
issue of bugs in systemd-shim came up in the latter context, and I replied
to that in that context.
