FYI, 1.8-rc1 has been tagged with the optional filter policy support included: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/modemmanager-devel/2018-January/006157.html By default it uses the DEFAULT policy (equivalent to what we were doing until now). You can enable the STRICT policy passing --filter-policy=STRICT on the ModemManager startup (e.g. as a patch to the systemd service file). -- Aleksander https://aleksander.es
