I'm linking this just to make sure that past technical arguments (first and foremost, which email address to use) are acknowledged in this new round of discussions.
People opposed using [email protected] as mail address which I completely agree with. My way of working is extremely low profile, it doesn't add any burden to anyone with respect to e-mails as the address that I'm using is already getting all the mail anyways. Any new mail list would require several actions. And as mentioned by some too, also I wouldn't subscribe to it.
DDPO shows all packages using Debian Commons together like here: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=viking%40packages.debian.orgWhat witchery is that?
I have no idea, I wasn't expecting it to work but just noticed it. There is extremely weird witchery involved though, because the other package that still use the old "be my guest" also show up there, awesome :). However, I just noticed that the witchery appears weird to me though, as https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=cppi%40packages.debian.org doesn't get merged into it. So I'm inferring that it checks the uploaders field somehow. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I guess if/when this idea gets widespread the tools will be adapted by their owners or the commoners (via patches, MRs or straight fixes).
