Hum.... Je ne voudrais pas �tre m�chant, mais cela me rappelle "512Ko
should be enough for everyone".
Plus s�rieusement, je pense que qd on peut faire la m�me chose avec
moins de ressources, il ne faut pas s'enpriver (c'est � mon avis la
politique de la Debian, par rapport aux distributions commerciales, et
je l'appr�cie beaucoup).
Que le noyau conserve des "pages sales" dans le swap ne me semble pas
tr�s... propre. C'est regrettable surtout si on peut faire autrement.
Mais que l'utilisateur ne puisse pas avoir le choix, c'est carr�ment de
la dictature !! :P
En fait, je pense qu'il y a d'autres raisons, non arbitraires, pour ce
choix de swap=2*RAM (contre swap<=2*RAM avant) qui ne sont pas
expliqu�es ici et j'aimerai beaucoup que les personnes comp�tentes sur
cette liste (s'il y en a) nous les explique.
