Akira,
   You don't have to convince me. Since kde 3.0.2 will probably come
into sid with a libpng3 dependency it makes perfect sense to me.
Sid users aren't going to want to bump back and forth between having
libpng2-dev and libpng3-dev installed to build gnome 2.0 and kde 3.0
packages at the same time.
