Hi,

Trying to shutdown my freshly installed Debian GNU Hurd system using
'shutdown', gives me this :

"
# shutdown -fh now
shutdown: /dev/initctl: No such file or directory
init: /dev/initctl: No such file or directory
"

PS:
Upon my last reboot, I did have some unexpected cleaned/deleted inodes
from /dev though (/proc/*, /dev/(p)tty/*) (went by too fast for me to
determine which ones, though)

So whats the correct way to shutdown, then ? Or should I (re-)create
devices in /dev ? If so, then how ?

Thanks,

Regards,

John Smith.
