Hello Debian Python Team, I would like to join the Debian Python Team.
I recently started contributing to Debian by adopting the orphaned pytest-dependency and python-zopfli packages. I would like to continue maintaining it and contribute to the maintenance of other Python packages in Debian as I become more familiar with the team's workflow and practices. So far, I have been working on updating the Debian packaging for the latest upstream release, improving the packaging configuration, and setting up Salsa CI. My Salsa login is: sergrast I have read and accept the Debian Python Team Policy: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/tools/python-modules/-/blob/master/policy.rst I have also subscribed to the `debian-python` mailing list. Thank you for considering my request. Best regards, Sergei Rastompakhov
