Actually, no it did not, because our solution produced an error, with my ending up solving the problem via another arena entirely given both my deadline, and the tangents making this about my body and tools instead.
This is why it's important for questioners to state their goals clearly, and to give details about their operating environment(s).
Not when they state clearly that they cannot use Debian directly, and are using a shell service, two of them in fact, the other provided by dreamhost, instead.
