I thought David Wright was saying the contrary. I thought he discovered that ticking LXDE + Desktop Environment and only ticking LXDE resulted in the same set of packages. Maybe I misread him. BTW, peu importe that the OP has vanished as they often do, or that you're no longer interested. This is important info that pertains to the subject of the thread.
