AOL is not in ORDB.org but some of the aol mail servers are periodically in spamcop. So if you put SPAMCOP HOLD you may end up holding a lot of AOL and compuserve mail from time to time. I think the weighting protocols are the only thing that work for us. Individual tests each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
As far as the big bad AOL, that really is not the issue. If we start blocking aol mail the people most affected are our customers that can no longer communicate with their friends and family that use aol - my responsibility is to my customers. It also wastes alot of admin time sorting through all of the held emails and moving them to the que.
