Forgot to mention. There will be no screen interaction while the script is processing the files but you can see it runing in the task manager. If you have 10's of thousands of files to process, it may take a few minutes.
Good Luck, Eddie -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Eddie Cornejo Sent: Sunday, October 06, 2002 1:33 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] Here is a VBS script to delete held files by date.... I use this VBS script to delete files by date from the \spam\deleted\ dir automatically. Just edit lines 34 and 35 or delete the values and it will work interactively. It will process all subdirectories below the starting dir. You can make several copies of this script with different names such as DeleteOldSpamFiles.vbs and DelteOldVirusFiles.vbs and keep adding them to the scheduler. I hold all spam e-mails for 7 days and this script maintains this for me. Save the attachment and rename the extension to vbs. Can be run from any dir.
