Pardon my jumping in this discussion late: How do the names get added to the list (or web-o-trust)? It appears that companies say, "I'm not a spammer, trust me!" What keeps the spammers of the list? The distributed nature of the management is what keeps the time commitment down, but at the same time minimizes the effectiveness.
What am I missing here?
