Hi Scott,

I just switched to LOGLEVEL MID to get more info for reporting and was puzzled by a couple of things:

1. Domains that are whitelisted for incoming mail seem to still be tested:

02/22/2004 10:27:14 Qca3e0543037a1ab3 WARNING: DNS server 10.0.0.32 returned a SERVER FAILURE error for MX or A for thehdhd.com.
02/22/2004 10:27:14 Qca3e0543037a1ab3 AHBL:6 SBL:7 SORBS-SPAM:9 SPAMCOP:9 HELOBOGUS:6 SPAMHEADERS:3 NJABLPROXIES:5 AHBLPROXIES:5 .  Total weight = 50
02/22/2004 10:27:14 Qca3e0543037a1ab3 E-mail whitelisted - automatically passing all spam tests [EMAIL PROTECTED]
02/22/2004 10:27:14 Qca3e0543037a1ab3 L1 Message OK
If I'm reading this correctly isn't it a waste of resources?  Just curious.  We may actually use this info as a selling point to our customers that don't subscribe to the spam filtering services, so it is useful.  Perhaps there's a reason to add a parameter on the whitelist domain line to indicate whether normal testing should take place.

2.  I see the resolved email address on the FROM: TO: line in the log instead of the original domain.

I would like to run reports on each hosted domain to show customers how effectively the spam and virus filtering is working, but need the original domain for that.  Is this a limitation imposed by IMail (by replacing the info in the header with the redirected address) or is it possible to report the original receiving domain?
I'm running 1.75.

Thanks,

Darin.
