Was out of the office last week and I missed this discussion. Here's a problem I've faced and maybe some of you have the right words to dish out when talking with the Reps.

I've contacted several companies to purchase their product for virus detection on IMail + Declude. Once I tell them all I need is the Command Line Scanner or Interface they ask if I'm running it on a Server, to which I have to answer yes. At that point, they won't sell me just one copy. In fact, they refuse to sell me anything less than the number of mail accounts I'm running.

Anyone else end up like this?

I don't know if it's 32 bit but the .dat files are on the same page and the
heading they're under is "VirusScan Version 4.x (or higher) Daily Updates."
So it looks like you can get the updated pattern files at the same place.

Sure looks like a freebie to me. http://vil.nai.com/vil/virus-4d.asp

Is scan.exe a 32 bit app?

How do you update the pattern files?

Thanks!
