True, however, the patterns we look for are any symbol (non-alpha
characters) in the middle of a word, surrounded by white-space. Thus,
anytime these types of characters:
[.,\;:?%!&+^~`'\$*=\#|013467
are found anywhere in a combination of letters, surrounded by white-space
(e.g. p!ll, ca$h, vit*mins, etc), they are tagged. And yes, I agree that
Sniffer performs very well on this front, too, which is why we use it and
continue to renew our Sniffer support contracts each year. :-)
