So -
they are amateurs <G>. That doesn't make Challenge/Response bad - it
just means that they don't know how to do it right.
I'm
not worried about the emails that I "delete" - I've never ever had someone who
"wanted" them.
I'm
only worried about the "gray" ones which I currently "Bounce" to give legit
senders fair warning. It would be nice if those "Bounce"
messages:
a)
were sent from the <> null sender
(something that Declude REALLY needs to get a handle on - all they need
to do is allows us to specify a different mailer application for it's MSG
templates)
b)
could contain a "release" URL where a sender could release any false
positive.
Of
course, if Imail or Declude would run "On Connection" tests, we would need
to worry about generating BounceSpam at all. All that's needed there would
a simple TCP/IP proxy for port 25 into which Declude could tie
itself.
Best
