Yes. The Shiro project was name JSecurity when it was incubating, and it snamed was changed, as JSecurity was used by one big telco company.

Note that we never waited to be sued because of he name...
How likely is it to actually become a problem?
How likely do *you* want it to ever become a problem once the project is established as a TLP ? ...
