I'm busy looking at the JediVCS system and was quite pleased to see it has a firebird interface. If you are a Firebird database fan I would definitely recommend checking this project out. If you aren't then it does have support for Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL and some other databases I'm not familiar with.

I haven't tried it but it looks like it's not difficult at all. http://excastle.com/blog/archive/2005/05/31/1048.aspx http://svn1clicksetup.tigris.org/ http://blogs.clearscreen.com/migs/archive/2005/01/21/824.aspx -- Best regards, Jack ===8<==============Original message text=============== Speaking of CVS, my company switched from cvs to svn(subversion.) It's free and the client software tortoiseSVN is very very easy to use. But I never set up the server side so I'm not sure if it's easy. Because it's good for corporate use, I suppose it's an overkill (I mean the set up and maintenance need) for small groups or personal use. I once tried to set up cvs server for my personal use and decided it's too much work for what I want to do, and I don't like the windows version manages users - you need to create a few Windows user accounts for it to use. I remember there are some very simple and easy to set up cvs systems. I'm not sure if FreeVCS or JediVCS are such systems. I have no experience with them. -- Best regards, Jack __________________________________________________ Delphi-Talk mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi-talk __________________________________________________ Delphi-Talk mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi-talk
